About the position

This role will allow a successful candidate to support a high performing team, to learn Manufacturing excellence and best practices, and also to be exposed and experience to the Digital world in one of the top Manufacturing facility.

What will you be doing?

  • Participate in 5s activities and audits in the mill
  • Conduct time studies for manufacturing processes and look for opportunities to improve
  • Visual management improvements in the mill
  • Contribute to waste identification in manufacturing processes (8 waste)
  • Participate in structured kaizen events
  • Prepare/ Review standard work instructions for manufacturing processes
  • Provide support in problem solving activities
  • Select a project that will bring improvements to the mill
